SH5 is a piece of [edited] by design as well as buggines that comes from it being unfinished. SH4 was the last 'true' SH game and it was as unfinished as SH5.

(Really good ones.) I let down the game when I couldn't find any way to cancel my route on the map, plus the really, really slow pace. Too much complex for me, and more, I bought the game to get some mods to play surface combats, but that would have been too hard to play. The game is slow paced but SH4 is even worse then that as nobody though that the x4096 time compression is a tad bit too slow, the mods correct that problem by upping that to x8192. The surface mods do not work and the game is not complex, as far as simulators go its far on the easy side.
